The OTSSA has its own scholarly journal with the title Old Testament Essays (ISSN 2312-3621). The journal exists since 1988 and three (3) issues are published annually. Professor Gerrie Snyman of the Department of Biblical and Ancient Studies at the University of South Africa is currently the editor. He has two sub-editors who assist him with the publication.
